While I've only had one professionally printed comic (a Tweety and Sylvester story done in the 1970s that's deservedly obscure), comics are something I've dabbled in forever. Some work was done for my college paper, some for fanzines and others just for my own satisfaction.
The advantage comics have over animation is that they don't take as long to create and can be done with fewer people. That makes them a better medium for telling stories at this point in my life.
